Each manufacturer has their own web site that offers complete product

How
can buying a Dealer Invoice Report save me time and money?
Your goal as a buyer is to negotiate the lowest
possible price on the machine you want to purchase. A salesperson's job at a
dealership is to make as much profit for the dealership as possible on each
transaction. This can lead to confusing or possibly deceptive sales tactics
because the salesperson knows all the facts, while you are blindly guessing at
what a good deal might be.
By showing the dealer that you, the buyer, know
exactly what their cost is on a machine, it becomes much easier to negotiate a
price that is acceptable to both parties. You leave the dealership knowing
exactly how much (or little) they made on the deal and get to enjoy your new
machine without having to wonder whether you could have saved a lot more money
by shopping more dealers.

Why do you charge for your service when this information is available free for
automobiles?
We are not a dealership, nor do we sell motorcycles or ATVs. We
sell dealer cost INFORMATION that can help buyers save money when purchasing a
new machine. We don’t get paid by Honda, Yamaha, or any other manufacturer for
selling their product, so we must charge our customers for the information we
sell.
The auto industry has made this information freely available, but it is a lot of
hard work to keep things current in the motorcycle industry. In addition the
cost of obtaining current information, our other costs include web hosting,
design, and maintenance, toll-free phone lines and the cost of having people
available to answer calls.
Since we do not earn a percentage of anyone’s holdback money or referral fees,
we need to get paid by the people who stand to benefit the most from obtaining
this information, the new vehicle buyer.
In addition to our revenue from information sales, we stock and sell
motorcycle accessories and
ATV
accessory products. We work very hard to maintain a high level
of customer service and satisfaction in all aspects of our business.
All in all, we earn our money, and feel that we have a right to get paid for our
hard work. We welcome anyone as a customer, but certainly respect your right to
not purchase information from us.
Can I buy a motorcycle
or ATV from ATVCost.com?
No. ATVCost.com is not a dealership.
We only sell dealer cost information and accessories.
Where does the dealer
cost information come from?
ATVCost.com's owners have worked in the
motorcycle industry for most of the past 20 years as either General Manager or
Sales Manager of multi-brand dealerships. During that time, we established a
number of contacts who provide us with current copies of the manufacturer to
dealer price lists. All of our pricing information is taken directly from the
manufacturer’s most current dealer price list and includes dealer holdback
information and all available dealer sales incentive or rebate program
information.
How
accurate is the information?
Very! We review all prices with dealers at least every 2 weeks to ensure accuracy. If you have
any doubts about the accuracy of the information you purchased, please contact us immediately and we
will re-verify the information on your report within 48 hours. If we are ever wrong, we will
refund the report cost AND provide you with the latest cost information.
Do
all dealers pay the same price?
Yes. Federal law requires manufacturers to charge all dealers, large or
small, the same price for machines. All manufacturers have standardized freight
prices to ensure that a dealer whose shop is very near the manufacturer's
distribution warehouse does not have a competitive advantage over dealerships in
distant locations.
How soon do I get the
information I purchase?
Immediately! After a 5 to 15 second
delay to authorize your charge card, the Dealer Invoice Reports you purchase
will show on screen for you to print or copy. You will have access to your download
page for 12 hours, then it will be deleted.
Can I get a
discount if I purchase multiple reports?
Yes. Our new shopping cart is programmed to charge the regular price for
the first report and then deduct $5 from the cost of each additional report. This discount is
calculated on the final screen after your order is summarized. You will also receive a coupon
in your confirmation e-mail that will allow you to purchase additional reports at the discounted
price for 7 days after your original purchase.
How safe are your online
credit card transactions?
Very safe. All of our order processing is done on secure
servers by
PlugnPay.com, one of the Internet's leading credit card processing
systems. We have been with PlugnPay since 1997 with absolutely no security issues.
What does
ATVCost.com do with my private information?
CycleBuy values your privacy. We do not send unsolicited e-mail. We will not
ever sell, transfer, trade, share, or otherwise
release your personal information
to any other company.
Is accessory cost
information also available for individual items?
No. Due to the large number of accessory items available
for each machine, it is not feasible to try and track prices on individual
items. We will gladly discuss the average markup of accessory items with our
customers.
