Stainless Steel
Oil Filter Screen Bolt fits all KTM RFS models
The stock oil filter
screen keeper bolt piece is a pain in the
neck... literally. The heating
and cooling of the engine/gearbox causes the OEM oil filter
screen keeper bolt to freeze or seize in the transmission cases.
It has an 8mm internal hex (Allen head) design, which generally is filled
with dirt, and cannot withstand repetitive usage even in the
best conditions without deforming or stripping. Do not allow the OEM 8mm internal hex to
strip out, as the entire engine
will have to be removed/disassembled to be repaired. Take great care with the OEM service ritual, tapping on
the bolt with a piece of brass (preferred method) per KTM
service recommendation. |
|
The
System Tech Racing Stainless Steel upgrade part
utilizes a 13mm external hex which cannot clog up with dirt and
is a much more durable design. It will take
repeated usage, with a socket rather than Allen
wrench, without deforming or stripping. The outer corners of the
hex bolt are physically much stronger than the inside corners of
the OEM design. Just reach for your 13mm socket. |

Rear Caliper Radiator Kit
Fits 2004-07 KTM 125-525 SX/XC/XC-W/EXC/MXC models and 2003 KTM 250/450 SX
In tight,
fast trail
sections or long down hills we all have had the problem of rear
brake overheating. The System Tech Racing Caliper Radiator Kit fits “in line”
at the rear Caliper with the supplied Banjo Bolt, seal washers
and fittings. Brake fluid cycles in and out of the radiator with
each push of the brake pedal. With this action the Caliper
Radiator dissipates heat from the brake fluid. Heat is also drawn from
the caliper by the Caliper Radiator,
as it is tightly fixed to it.
Material/Finish: Radiator (6061 Alu. Orange Anodize), Banjo Bolt
4130 Chromoly Steel. |

Speed Bleed Buttons
Fits all Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamahas 125cc thru 500cc, 2-strokes or 4-strokes
(made
with 5 mm thread) with Showa and Kayaba Forks and KTM with White Power forks
(made with 4mm thread).
The speed bleed buttons are a triple sealed push button valve
assembly using two, piston and cylinder type o-ring applications
in each valve to eliminate leakage of any kind, fluids or air in
or out of the fork assembly. Just 2 pounds of pressure can
change the suspension balance front to rear. Often what is lost
with pressure in the fork is that plush feeling and the
confidence that goes with it.
Start by fully extending your forks, then bleed off any built up
pressure. This topping step is important so that you do not
create a vacuum when they are topped. This condition would lower
the front end ride height overall and alter your handling.
*A low 3/8 installed standoff height.
