Thanks to your site, we paid only 5% over the Ready to Sell Cost for our Honda Shadow Sabre 1100. The dealer tried to charge us over $600 in assembly costs and over $500 in dealer prep/costs - plus the List price of the bike. 

When I told them I'd only pay 5% above the Ready to Sell Cost (listed on the your invoice) they just about had heart attacks. But guess what? We not only got the bike for our asking price, but our friend bought one too for the same price!!! Your service saved us close to $1750 - EACH bike.

thank you for the gratis report on the Yamaha V-Star.

i actually went back to your website yesterday and purchased another report on the Honda VLX Deluxe which i then proceeded to put to good use.

after i did my homework i went out to teampowersports in garner (near raleigh) and made an offer on a 2003 VLX Deluxe armed with the facts.

i let my salesman work up his first price which came back at $6109.09. . i told them i was aware of the dealer holdback and said that it was coming out of my pocket. they were also attempting to charge $228.00 freight, $167.00 setup, $95.00 doc fees and $70.00 for tax/tag/title/inspection (actual cost about $62.00).

i let them know that the freight was in the dealer invoice already, setup was about $58.00, doc fees were bogus and i could do all the title paperwork myself for $62.00. I offered $5075.34. based on your info that gave them about 7.5% instant profit and 50% of the dealer holdback for a total of 10.34% profit.

of course they balked and i got the old, "I gotta talk to my sales manager, I've never discounted one this much routine!"). They said no and I raised my offer to $5200.00, they came back at $5400.00. I said $5200.00 out the door was my final offer and they took it.

so i figure that factoring in the information i paid you for the three reports i purchased for $39.85 plus the free one saved me a total of $869.00. by the was MSRP on this bike is $5299.00 ________________________________________________________________________________________

W just have to share the smiles we have and let you know how much you helped us. We just took possession of two 2002 Honda Shadow VLX's 600cc (no miles,) with the help of your service today. We're happy, the dealer is happy. We had visited a total of five dealers here in our area, and initially we were not getting any kind of price quotes that we thought were any good. Profit for the dealer and a good price for us. Logical thinking.

We contacted you to confirm the list price and our original figures to make sure we were not out in left field all by ourselves with maybe incorrect figures. With your urgings we decided visiting the 17 dealers in our area (Chicagoland), could be a cool thing to do. Besides, it's fun visiting bike shops anyway. It only took us 5 dealers to find one that really was giving us the numbers we wanted to hear, and we would have gone to the other 12 if necessary. For the 2003 blue bike we wanted, ********* Honda gave us a quote of $5273, cool, $127 less than what we thought was a good price. But, they had two matching 2002 metallic Red bikes in the crate no miles for $5120, out the door price. Delivered to our house. We almost couldn't believe it. We quickly became fond of the metallic red, they look cool and maybe blue bikes can be in the future.

We wish to whole heartedly thank you for the help you gave us. The initial $10 investment spent on the CycleBuy.com report saved us $500 per bike (a total of $1000, when you consider we bought two) in our eyes because in the beginning we were getting price quotes of $5683 at our first dealer and on a second visit he only came down to $5623.
